In 2006, we received the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s (JCAHO) Gold Seal of Approval. This independent, not-for-profit organization is the predominant standard-setting and accrediting group in health care. Indeed, it has become the “Gold Standard” when evaluating service providers. Today, more and more hospitals are requiring all of their partners to be JCAHO accredited.

Our equipment, software, business practices and record keeping meet or exceed ACR guidelines and are all HIPAA compliant. Additional programs such as the Quality Assurance Review process, Peer Review and the ongoing credentialing of our physicians means that striving for quality is simply something we do everyday.

In the event of any discrepancies, NexxRad Teleradiology Partners has developed a Quality Assurance process to allow us to continually improve systems and prevent future issues. Any discrepant findings noted by our clients are electronically sent to the diagnosing teleradiologist and our Group Medical Director for review and comment.

When necessary, the entire Quality Assurance Committee reviews the discrepant findings. Utilizing this comprehensive system of review and follow-up enables our QA Staff to track, trend, and take any actions necessary to improve performance. These evaluations, coupled with our detailed analytical reports documenting minor and major findings, serve as educational tools by providing feedback to the initial teleradiologist, our Board of Directors, and our clients.
