NexxRad Teleradiology Partners’ roots in teleradiology date back to 1998 when our President, Jagdish Patel, M.D., worked with a large radiology group based in Southern California to form an in-house teleradiology solution "Nighthawk" to facilitate their night and weekend call. Shortly after launching the program, the key doctors recognized the vast potential in providing supplemental teleradiology services to an even larger network of hospitals. Dr. Patel was integral to this effort and formed RadImage Medical Group in 2002 a teleradiology company that provides professional radiology services via teleradiology.

In 2005, RadImage became known as NexxRad Teleradiology Partners, and in November 2006 received the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s (JCAHO) Golden Seal of Approval. Today, NexxRad Teleradiology Partners a professional teleradiology company is headquartered in Long Beach, California and serves radiology groups, hospitals, imaging center, clinics, and others in need of high quality, reliable, affordable professional radiology services across the United States.

We utilize only board-certified, U.S. -trained and -based radiologists with experience in emergency radiology and with training in various subspecialties. Our radiologists are all full-time employees, not subcontractors or residents. NexxRad Teleradiology Partners radiologist staff has had very little turnover since its beginning. More importantly, preliminary reports are generated in minutes and always are available within 30 minutes or less, and final reports are available with customized turnaround time to meet your needs. All Critical Findings are communicated directly over the phone by our radiologist to the referring doctor.

NexxRad Teleradiology Partners is privately held; it is run and owned by radiologists. This structure allows NexxRad Teleradiology Partners to focus solely on improving patient care and adhering to the highest standards of excellence, rather than being burdened by Wall Street expectations or other outside interests. 5. WORLD-CLASS TECHNOLOGY
We use the most advanced digital image networking technology available, the Horizon Medical Imaging ^TMPicture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). The system is based on client/server technology developed by McKesson’s Medical Imaging Group, and integrates images from multiple modalities with clinical patient data, streamlining our workflow and improving radiologist efficiency. In addition, our systems are fully backed-up and redundant to prevent any interruptions in service.
